BTW why would Suse drop Reiser just because the inventor is in jail. Can't development continue without him?
First, we do not drop it. It is there, it is fully supported, you can install the system on it. We only changed the installer _default_. You can of course still select it in the istnaller. Reasons for no longer making it the default: - No active upstream maintenance. SUSE had 2 developers supporting it, one of them left SUSE. - not effectively scalable to lots of CPUs.
