Anyway, after some trouble with sourceforge, I downloaded this package but it doesn't build. I think the problem is that now I'm running Gnome, not KDE. I run "make configure" but then when I run "make" it says:
checking for KDE... configure: error: in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail. So, check this please and use another prefix!
Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to handle this one (OK, it's not that I'm unsure, I have no clue!)
Any suggestions anyone?
Ksynaptics is offered in the normal Suse installation. Just open Yast2/Software/Software Management and search for it. The fact that this is a KDE app shouldn't matter. At least in KDE, which I use, I can install any Gnome app from the DVD and they run in KDE just fine. I assume/hope Ksynaptics will create an entry in the Gnome menu for you to use. Carlos FL
