Well, in 10.0 my Radeon X700 laptop went to a blank screen using the standard radeon driver, which meant after initial installation I had to drop to RL 3 and install the fglrx driver before I could do anything else.
Just got around to updating it to 10.1 and the updated radeon driver seems to at least support the standard resolution with this card now!
Try the radeon10b module also - the standard radeon module does not work on my Thinkpad R51e, but the newer one does. It's become standard in of the next 10.2 alphas. /Per Jessen, Zürich -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
