Well, in 10.0 my Radeon X700 laptop went to a blank screen using the standard radeon driver, which meant after initial installation I had to drop to RL 3 and install the fglrx driver before I could do anything else. Just got around to updating it to 10.1 and the updated radeon driver seems to at least support the standard resolution with this card now! -- David Wright Wright Information Services Europa "I got to go figure," the tenant said. Try the radeon10b module also - the standard radeon module does not work on my Thinkpad R51e, but the newer one does. It's become standard in of the next 10.2 alphas. /Per Jessen, Zürich -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

Don't use the radeon10b if radeon works.
Never change a running system.
