Hey all, Wonder when the SUSE guys are planning to fix the screensaver workings? I believe Leen mentioned this first as broken, they would not start, so
Not the first, but that doesn't matter.
I thought the KDE3 3.5.3 updates were going to fix the problem. Mine still does not start after waiting the time I have selected for it to start.
Leen, did you come up on an answer to this?
Nope. :) But I just came back from doing shoppings, and my screen was black. Powermanagement kicks in after 7 min. The screensaver does kick in after switching to a text console (e.g. <Ctrl>+<Alt>-<F2>). I've just reported that.
I don't recall seeing anything in your emails that suggested it was working yet.
I don't recall writing something like that... ;)
Problems, problems, problems with 10.1. Why release something with this many bugs is beyond me, unless MS has purchased Novell when we weren't looking! sigh....
Hello! :) You're generalizing. The screensaver was working before 3.5.3. Also the icon-problem did not exist before 3.5.3. BTW, I think SUSE will be more carefull in the future before adding something that's not quite ready. I noticed one can vote for a bug. Currently there are no votes. So people who care and want this bug fixed, come on, and vote! ;) (I did) https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=181122 Cheers, Leen -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
