I'm one of those people, and personally I'm not trying to justify anything. I think it's a decent way of indicating that a posting isn't exactly on-topic, yet also does not really belong on suse-ot.
Wrong! If the post does not ask for help or offer a solution it belongs on the OT list. As other people have stated that is what it was created for.
