I've used it a bit. You can export as wav, mp3, or ogg, and according to the web site you supplied, CDex may very well merge with Audacity. It won't be the same as CDex of course, but it will get the job done. Check out KAudioCreator, as Joe Morris suggested as well. I am sure that one or both will suit you well. There is no need to settle until you have checked out your options. - James W.
