opensuse.org frontpage redesign Action Item michl: - discuss front page redesign on opensuse-wiki
listed on http://en.opensuse.org/Tasks
Still open, needs discussion / action!
I know - the question is: Should items listed on the Tasks page also be listed as AI in bugzilla?
IMHO yes because tracking changes in the wiki can be difficult. But Henne doesn't seem to think so, see https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=164756
Action Items are things a person commited to do. So you can make a bugzilla entry and track the status there. Things on the tasks page dont have anyone caring for them. So it does not makes sense to add these as Action Items to bugzila. For instance 164756. You assigned that to me. But i said i cant do it in time. So whats the point in assigning that AI to me? Writing that SDB article belongs on the Tasks page so people that have the time can pick it up from there and do it. Henne -- Henne Vogelsang, http://hennevogel.de "To die. In the rain. Alone."
