I like that idea -- so, how about just going ahead? Actually I think we should start a "Meeting" namespace on the wiki to have a place for the minutes and have a special page on the "open action itmes" as well. (There is an open AI here for a brave volunteer: Create the "Meeting" namespace and move / consolidate the existing pages that fall into this namespace ;)) Regards Christoph

there are very few namespace allowed in mediawiki (by construction), so why not use subpage feature that are allowed in our wiki? Im strongly against it. I would rather do that in bugzilla, we have a "product" openSUSE and we just need a "Action Item" component. As soon as AJ has the time to create it ;) BUT we will need some wiki enablement to render a bugzilla search in the wiki. Our bugzilla support cvs, rss and I guess xml export options -- now we just need someone to prepare a plugin to (dynamically) render a search in mediawiki. Any volunteers? Regards Christoph

In theory, yes. In practise, the bugzilla team moves all bugzilla bugs to _Product_ Bugzilla which also causes the novellonly flag to be set :-( (You remember the "permission denied" discussion for SLES bugs? It's basically the same with bugzilla bugs.)

Yes, that's the theory. In practise, bugs tend to change product and/or component, which has a good reason in most cases. The "[AI]" tag in the summary will allow to track AIs that have been moved. Action Items are things a person commited to do. So you can make a bugzilla entry and track the status there. Things on the tasks page dont have anyone caring for them. So it does not makes sense to add these as Action Items to bugzila. For instance 164756. You assigned that to me. But i said i cant do it in time. So whats the point in assigning that AI to me? Writing that SDB article belongs on the Tasks page so people that have the time can pick it up from there and do it. Henne -- Henne Vogelsang, http://hennevogel.de "To die. In the rain. Alone."
