I was originally thinking that I needed to copy all the CDs into one location so that after the install is done I can point Yast to this location as well. I think I've got it figured out now, though.

I'm sure that I've looked right over the directions for this, but could someone please tell me how to take my five install CDs and create a local repository?
What I do for a network install is burn CD1, then mount the ISOs of CD1-5 on loopback such that I have the following:
/suse/suse-10.1/CD1 /suse/suse-10.1/CD2 /suse/suse-10.1/CD3 /suse/suse-10.1/CD4 /suse/suse-10.1/CD5
I then boot from CD1, and specify /suse/suse-10.1/CD1 as source. Is that what you're after or were you hoping to copy the CDs into one big directory?

Have you tried using yast => miscellaneous => Installation Server ? quite neat! The change your installation sources to the directory you setup, and disable the cd-rom sources. Chadley
