It was even worse before 10.1 because openSUSE the project created SUSE Linux OSS, and Novell distributed SUSE Linux.
Exact: the openSUSE project created SUSE LINUX OSS _and_ SUSE LINUX 10.0 (the box version), which was distributed by Novell. -- Martin Sommer
