I know that the nvidia driver I use for my old video is not an "open" but is the only support acceleration. Well I see that when reboot or power on my PC I must create by hand all files related with /dev/nvidia... :-( Could I write all this in somewhere like /etc/udev or similar to avoid write it each time I reboot the PC?
The device should get created as soon as the driver is loaded (i.e. if you configured your X-Server to use it, this should happen on X startup). If this is not the case, the driver is probably broken. Regards Christoph
