You may copy the contents of all the CDs into a directory and regenerate an ISO to burn to a DVD.
First of all, install the package "autoyast2". If there are directories whose name is "media.2", "media.3" and so on, remove them and leave only "media.1".
Sorry to ask, but where should I look for this? Should I mount all CD's first?
Yes, mount the ISOs with: mount -o loop,ro cd1.iso /mnt/iso1 First of all creat /mnt/iso1, of course. Then copy the contents of /mnt/iso1 to another directory.
Now edit media.1/media and change "4" to "1" in the third line. This means the number of CDs or DVDs you're going to have, and since you're going to burn it to one DVD you have to put "1".
Again, wgere should I look for this?
When you copy the contents of the ISOs to a directory you'll find media.1/media there.
Now "cd" to where you've copied all the CDs and run:
Again, mounted or not?
CD to the new directory you've created, not to the CDs or the mounted ISOs.
create_package_descr -x setup/descr/EXTRA_PROV -l english -l spanish -l french -l german -l czech -l hungarian -l italian
I get extremely small files, but that is probably because I don't have done things correctly above.
What's "extremely small files" for you? some bytes, ~1Kb, ~1Mb...? If something went wrong you'll probably get an error message. Perhaps you're not running the command while being in the right directory. -- Víctor Fernández Martínez Gabinete de prensa de PoLinux [www.polinux.upv.es].
