It "should" be simple... Thunderbird stores all the email in it's own folder.. .in Windows I think it's in "Documents and Settings" something like this C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\mawjqit3.default\Mail\accountnamehere
somewhere... don't have a copy of WIndows anywhere to check. In Linux, it's in:
$HOME/.thunderbird/
.default/Mail In my case I keep the data in a different place that is available to either the Windows or SuSE. James, If you have it some other place besides the default, just go to Tools, Account Settings, Server Settings. near the bottom is Local Directory: with a browse button you can use to change the setting to wherever your files are. If you don't see the Local Directory: then you are probably seeing a bug with Thunderbird. Stretch the window size vertically to make Local Directory appear.
