Hi, Just tried the 9.2 dvd that came with the March issue of Linux Format (UK). It looks like there are not so many packages included. To name just a few that I'm missing at first glance: Scribus, Checkinstall, Sylpheed, Opera, Blackbox, Windowmaker, XFCE, nedit, tkdesk. According to the magazine, almost the full professional version is included. 'Almost', because the complete boxed set also includes some commercial or closed source software that is not suitable for free distribution. The dvd reader seems to be well recognized as an installation medium, and I can install packages from the dvd. Is the boxed set indeed much more complete than this dvd, which seems to be the same as the FTP version, or am I missing something? S.
