OK, this sounds silly, but on my 9.2 install, I can't find an xterm... nor can I find an xterm package.
Normally, I use konsole so I haven't noticed whether an xterm exists, but now I need it, and its not there.
Anyone seen one anywhere??? What do others use when KDE or Gnome terminals are not available?
TIA, jalal
Seems to be on my default install, maybe not on yours: 'which' is quite useful here if you don't know it: fergus@pc:~> which xterm /usr/bin/xterm HTH Fergus
