I am using SuSE Pro 9.0. I tried to print a document in oOo 1.1.1 and now the printer (HP Deskjet 990 Cxi USB) will not print anything at all, from any application.
The icon on the 990 indicates the jobs are paused, but when I cancel the jobs, the "Paused" text remains and it still won't print.
When I open the "Properties" window, it says:
"Paused: Unable to open USB device "usb://HP/DeskJet%20990C": No such device"
I'm puzzled as to why this happened and how to get things going again.
Is there a kill command that I can use in a terminal that might get things unstuck?
Any guidance would be appreciated.

If you are using CUPS you can open your web browser on "localhost:631" then click on "Printers". This gives the status of the printer, it may be stopped. Geoff
