Hi.
I can't get my microphone working......
With Suse 9.1 on a pentium 4 pc and kernel 2.6.5-7.108-default, I am having trouble getting my microphone to work (krecorder, skype). I am using SB Audigy 2 (configured in yast2), and it works well under Win XP on the same pc. The speakers work fine in Linux too. I turned up the mike volume in kmix 2.0.1. However, there is a blank screen under kmix input, and the capture tab in Kamix 0.0.7 is also blank except for a mic boost +20db check box. When I start Kamix I get the warning that no sound card has been configured yet, although it has and yast2 agrees with that.
Any suggestions? Sune
First of all check what sound modules you have loaded, looks like some are missing. After that use YaST to configure the sound card, see if that works and note what modules are installed if you still have problems. Regards Sid.
