It sounds like KWord would be on the drive already, but it seems not to be.
Where do I look for KWord or Abiword? (I normally get the files in MS
Word .doc form, but I can get them in .wpd form if I need to. WordPerfect
converts the files fine, then hangs, to where I need to "kill" it.) I used to
have the older WP8 for Linux, but I have moved house, and I don't know if I
can find it. Unlike some folks on the list, I am not averse to spending
money on programs I need, so long as the amount is not ridiculous.

Thanx for your advice.
