Can you explain why my SuSE 9.1 Pro upgraded to KDE 3.2.3 and thence to
3.3.0 has a much older version of FreeType installed?

% rpm -q freetype
freetype-1.3.1-1150


I have not experienced any font-related problems, by the way.
