Thanks. I disabled the firewall for now to take it out of the equation.
Here is the configuration info for anyone who wants file sharing peer to peer 
with mldonkey. It is real cool. Interface allows you to use soulseek and many 
others. The 9.0 version for SuSE works in 9.1 also.
