Hi,
Try this:
1- instead of IP adress use XP-net-name (the name of your XP computer in th
net)
2-when you in the screen your printers go to advance and change spooler from
Cups to LPRng
3- do not try test until finish all process. Try later starting Yast again

There are two entries for the printer, HP and print$.
I have the printer setup in yast2. When I run Test remote SMB access I
get a 'connection to ffc failed' error message after being told that pinging worked.
I have at least two questions:
What is the correct name of the remote queue (I've tried both HP and
print$ and get the same result)?
Whay won't this work (admittedly a rather general question)?
Thanks in advance
