My SuSE 9.0 Linux box is connected to the Windows XP box via Samba. Everything works, except for access from the Linux machine to the printer on the XP node of the LAN. I have at least two questions: What is the correct name of the remote queue (I've tried both HP and print$ and get the same result)? Whay won't this work (admittedly a rather general question)? Hi,
Try this:
1- instead of IP adress use XP-net-name (the name of your XP computer in th
net)
2-when you in the screen your printers go to advance and change spooler from
Cups to LPRng
3- do not try test until finish all process. Try later starting Yast again
(sorry for my english)
regard
