You can use parted to resize your current partition to make room for xp then you have to install xp then boot off the suse cd and some how reinstall grub on the MBR that windows wrote over. It is a million times eaiser to do it the other way windows first then liuux. But the best solution of all is no windows =) Armando Rick Fitzgerald wrote:
Hi,
A friend of mine asked me to install Win XP Pro, to coexist along with his SUSE 8, installation I've been out the Linux world for a while, so I can't remember exactly what the best procedure is in that case I know SUSE uses Grub and there I can configure both OSes but i can't remember the name of the software used to re-partition the HDD so it becomes dual boot.
thank you,
