Ummm.... are you logged in as yourself, su'ed or root??
Would you mind sending me your /home/{you}/.bashrc, .profile and /etc/profile as attachments so I can see what your doing??
Well don't mind doing that but I am unclear as to how you want to use these keys. If I retrieve commands (history) using the up/down cursor keys, and hit home/end, the cursor will position to the first position in the current command or move to the end respectively. This is in a KDE console session, or in a normal linux terminal session either as root or myself. Perhaps you want something different... (please don't copy people on your responses... we are all on the list and it just makes for duplicate emails.)

the
command line in bash as I'm working with the history list. Suse 9.0.
Which
file do I make changes to so it is made for all user? .bahsrc? .bashprofile? What changes to I need to make?? Any help is appreciated.
I'm
