-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 SuSE 9.0 on my laptop Linksys WPC11 V3 card Attaching to a Linsys Wireless router I posted this over the weekend, but no reply. I thought I'd try again as (a) the experts here really do seem to walk on water and (b) in an active list it could easily have been lost. Admitting some (a lot of??) ignorance here. Right now, the system is recognizing that the card is in place and is trying to load drivers. I'm seeing the following messages in the system log: cardmgr[1171] executing './network start wlan0' /sbin/hotplug[3373] no runnable /etc/hotplug/wlan-agent is installed ifup: No configuration found for wlan-pcmcia-1 wlan0 /etc/hotplug.net.agent[3383]: interface wlan0 is handled by service PCMCIA...exiting I *THOUGHT* I had set up the configuration in YAST, but obviously not correctly. Can someone point me at what I'm missing? How should I approach fixing this. tia - ---Michael -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2-rc1-SuSE (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAOmEMjeziQOokQnARAtPHAKCRFl41+Xd66Nf7eQG7/IwJ/TgXBwCgkNcn V8rJP4AjLyi8u+MAJItPbHM= =EfvS -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
