I have a problem with my wifes system which is always starting in run-level 3, I have checked tetting in /etc/inittab and the default run level appears as: id:5:initdefault: It used to boot up to runlevel 5 and show the KDE logon, however a recent reboot came up to level 3. I can login as root, change to level 5 and the KDE login comes up and she can proceed. Any advice would be appreciated as to where I can look to resolve this, I thought that the only place was Inittab, but it appears that I still have a lot to learn.
