Hmm... Assuming the package _can_ be unpacked somehow - would this be a package for sourceforge to host? Or some other public high bandwidth host?
There may be some legalities involved in anyone hosting this file for download.
How can there be any legalities involved in anyone hosting a file of _freely distributable_ fonts? (With reference to the tarball with 1000 freely distributable TTFs)
Best regards :o)

If they are indeed "freely distributable" fonts. You need to check for any copyright infringement that may exist. If no legalities are involved why was the file pulled from the previous site?
Always better to be safe then sorry.
'Better to be safe than sorry' was the way it used to be told to me - if you're going to be sorry anyway, would there be any real point in being safe?
