Astonishing. IE doesn't even pretend it's somehow all your fault. It tells you the _program_ made an illegal error and you should contact the vendor (ROFL). Then it suggests that if the problem persists, you should reboot.

If this was a konq bug, we'd have an online update yesterday.

On the plus side, I've just discovered I can use IE in win4lin with apache2 on localhost; so I can actually test web pages in IE. I was beginning to think it wasn't worthwhile installing win4lin because there aren't any applications that run better on Windows any more.
