Is there anything that resembles the 1980 style game that will compile on 8.1? Or an rpm? The first two pages on google just don't go.
This program used to compile and run for me on SuSE 8.0, but I haven't tried it since I upgraded to 8.1.
Why not give it a go?

Just an update to my own post - I downloaded the source to version 0.8 and it compiled and ran beautifully (both full-screen and in a window) on my SuSE 8.1 system. It's a pretty good implementation of the game, too!
By the way, why search for Linux software on Google? Freshmeat (http://freshmeat.net/) is *the* place for Linux software.

--===================== Ken, Thanks for the game, it works fine here! Very nice remake of a classic game to be sure. Thanks fsanta & Dennis for asking about it, as I don't think I would have thought to look for it. I did make a rpm of build should anyone want it or want me to upload to a site everyone could download from. Oh, Ken, what did you do to get it to run in a window? Mine comes up full screen right now, but only uses a smaller window there. Patrick --- KMail v1.5 --- SuSE Linux Pro v8.1 --- Registered Linux User #225206 On any other day, that might seem strange...
