I would like to know why my mouse is always failing to work after a reboot.
I have installed and tested it using yast and ps -aux keeps pretending that gpm is working.
What steps must I take to make my mouse work on console, please notice that the mouse IS working on X11 (console 7).
But why not on the console?
Normally, if you boot directly into graphic mode (runlevel 6?) rcgpm is not started, so you could manually run "rcgpm start". However, I remember having problems with that, so that I had to disable rcgpm from starting automatically on boot; do the graphical login into X, and last, switch ot a console and manually run "rcgpm start". There are documented problems about using the mouse on the console and X simultaneously, specially a ps/2 one. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
