Do I overlook something (as usual) on console?
Running 7.3 here on a Toshiba T9100 laptop. Ì ran 7.0 before and it worked, but now...: I would like to know why my mouse is always failing to work after a reboot. I have installed and tested it using yast and ps -aux keeps pretending that gpm is working. What steps must I take to make my mouse work on console, please notice that the mouse IS working on X11 (console 7). But why not on the console? =========================== Any ideas appreciated. Normally, if you boot directly into graphic mode (runlevel 6?) rcgpm is not started, so you could manually run "rcgpm start". However, I remember having problems with that, so that I had to disable rcgpm from starting automatically on boot; do the graphical login into X, and last, switch ot a console and manually run "rcgpm start". There are documented problems about using the mouse on the console and X simultaneously, specially a ps/2 one. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
