Hi If you like me live on a small island with hardly any shops in the middle of the Pacific then nothing is readily available. Whay really makes me wild is that Ricoh supplies a cdrom with programs for Windose and Mac. I emailed them and they said ""Sorry, LInux not supported!!"" I spend $8oo.oo on this camera and now I cannot use it. I ordered a flash card reader but when it finally arrived it was of course the wrong one. Bill On Monday 03 February 2003 01:34, fsanta wrote:

Hi. Sorry I'm coming late in on this thread but doesn't the Ricoh have a flash memory card? If so remove the card and download the images directly from it. Or does your camera offer other stuff as well as the photos too that you want access to?
Remove all other usb devices and plug in the card with adapter.
mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt
Your photos appear under /mnt
The adapter cable is cheap and readily available. Steve.
