Hi all,
I've been trying to get this card to work in several distributions, recently SuSE, with no luck. I've tried every HOWTO, FAQ, driver... I've been compiling kernels, pcmcia packages, etc.. I've gotten as far as SuSE actually notices the card when I plug it in, and supplies some power, but as for getting it to load a driver, it won't do it. I'm a total Linux newbie, but have worked with computers for years. Should it really be so difficult? Any help or insight you could provide would be great. I'd like to run a strictly Linux environment for a couple of weeks to evaluate and determine if I can safely abandon windows, however, as a first impression, this hasn't been good. I'm still willing to try though, if I can get this card to work.
Which version of SuSE are you using? With 7.3, it relatively easy to get it working. With 8.0, there is much wailing and knashing of teeth. Best Regards, Keith -- LPIC-2, MCSE, N+ Right behind you, I see the millions Got spam? Get spastic http://spastic.sourceforge.net
