Wow! It worked... sort of.
Only problem seems to be that now my entire KOffice install is missing, and all of my menus seem to be significantly different than they were before YOU did its thing.
Apparently there is a KOffice dependency issue which YOU couldn't resolve. I assume that my only recourse at this point is to install the updated version of KOffice using a more intelligent tool like APT.
Although I have installed APT, I have not yet used it. Would APT solve this difficulty, or do I simply fail to understand the complexity of the issues?
Any words of wisdom from the APT-gurus would be much appreciated!
Thanks...

I finally had some time to try the 3.0.1 update using YOU and it worked perfectly! It appears that YaST2 and YOU are both ok and don't seem to suffer the problems that others have reported from manually updating to 3.0.1. I did not have any menu issues -- Russ, perhaps your menus got switched from the SuSE menu to the KDE default (or vice-versa?). Just a thought. Anyway, kudos to the SuSE team on putting the 3.0.1 update together via YOU. Boy am I glad I switched to SuSE!! Best regards, Charles __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
