But it's more than printed matter....anyway, please use the addresses I posted previously since I don't seem to be doing any good here.
Wrong again Christopher.....your presence, and that of all SuSE staffers on the list are most appreciated...:)
Will follow up with references supplied
Many thanks
I'll explain this again for those who have missed my previous posts on this issue. The only authorized distributor of SuSE in Canada is Ingram Micro (Canada) Inc. They in turn get it from their parent company Ingram Micro (USA) Inc. I was told by my Rep. (I work for a store that sell SuSE in Ottawa) at Ingram Micro (Canada) that they are do not have the numbers to order SuSE direct from SuSE, so there American parent purchases it and then it is shipped to Canada. Why, that takes so long I've no idea. As Ingram Micro is the only Authorized distributor of this product in Canada and if all retailers get their orders in early then well should all get it about the same time. My experience to date is that SuSE shows up here about 3 months after the offical annoucement of the product release. If you have problems with the timing of the delivery of this product then I encourage you to find out who are the CEO, President, Vice President and Marketing Heads are at Ingram and email or mail them your concerns. Only loud angry voices are going to make any difference here. Oh, and FutureShop also get SuSE from Ingram Micro so the above will apply to them too.
