It actually came in quite handy for me when I was first working with SuSE. Yeah, it had some bugs, but usually it helped me find what I needed. Esp. considering how much documentation is available that worked with it... and I had installed *everything* back then for experimentation.
The strange susehelp/apache/htdig mix is thankfully gone in 8.0.
Still on 7.3, and probably will wait for 8.1 since I've gotten the 2.4.18 kernel and KDE3 working (as good as KDE3 will work). But ??? Did they include *anything* as a semi-replacement for Susehelp in 8.0? Something like that, with the minor bugs worked out, would be a great asset for newbies.
