Why don't you just order from a retailer? You can have it overnight.
The problem was in the past that no retailers in Canada stocked it. This time we got Futureshop to carry it but only because BestBuy (or was it CompUSA?) purchased the Futureshop chain. Buying it online is very expensive because they have to pay a lot of import taxes on it, so much so that places like Amazon won't even ship to Canada.
I will never buy SuSE from a american retailer at all for that matter anything. I bought SuSE 7.2 from a American retail form the US price of $79.95 The exchange rate put it at around $110.00 Canadian. Shipping was $6.95 US to get it to me. Once the package hit the border i got charged 7% GST, 7% PST, $39.00 Canadian brokers fees plus taxes. total is now around $170.00 Canadian. Bought the last copy from retailer in Qubec for $114.95 with free delivery. *--------------------------------* | Chris Large clarge@macn.bc.ca | | http://clarge.bc.ca | *--------------------------------*
