Sorry, I made a mistake with the version of the XServer. The one that is installed is 4.2.0-2. I downloaded it 2 days ago & this is the one I am having the problem with. Also, the 2314 NVidia driver is not listed in the suse section on the nvidia website. Do I have to download the base one & compile it? I tried this once before & got a heap of errors. Well, if your using the newest version of the nVidia drivers I would suggest using XFree86 4.2.0.
I've heard that in the past KDM and the nVidia driver like to bite at each others heels. I don't personally use it because it's just a system resource hog, but you may try the combo of XF 4.2.0 and the 2314 nVidia release and see if this fixes your issue. Others may have better knowledge then I do of a fix..but this is what I know.
