The install changed your resolution?
Anyways, afaics the switch2 script isn't needed with this version of
NVIDIA_GLX. If I read the pre- and postinstall scripts correctly, it will
handle all symlinks for you. Presumably the old switch-script would mess
things up if it ran, so the only change I made to my system was to set
SCRIPT_3D="" in rc.config.
The postinstall even handled libGL.so! yay :)
