Great, it worked Thanks,
For the record, to configure it with YaST2, the manufacturer is indeed Intel, and the model name is something like "EtherExpress Pro 10/100."
What about the VGA card i tried it also but it didnt work, does that output has the VGA card information S3 unknown
I'm not sure about that, Bashir. Since it's 66MHz, it looks to be an AGP card; possibly a Savage4? If SaX2 doesn't work to configure X, try logging in as root, stopping whatever X configuration is running, and do this: # XFree86 -configure This should create a file, XF86Config.new, in root's home directory. Copy this file to /etc/X11/XF86Config-4, and see if it works. If it works, great! You have a starting point, and should start tuning /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 to taste. There's lots of information out there about tuning a running configuration, so hit Google or something. ;) Feel free to share with us the working configuration, and what you want it to do. Save that to a floppy disk or something for future reference, but the .new file and the -4 file; this way if you ever have to reinstall, you don't have to have this headache twice. :) -- -=|JP|=- '01 B15 SE/PP | http://www.xanga.com/cowboydren/ | <))>< '95 SL2 Auto | cowboydren @ yahoo . com | _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
