Try `lspci -v > pci_listing.text' and post it here. -- -=|JP|=- '01 B15 SE/PP | http://www.xanga.com/cowboydren/ | />< '95 SL2 Auto | cowboydren @ yahoo . com | _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get your free @yahoo.com address at http://mail.yahoo.com

For the record, to configure it with YaST2, the manufacturer is indeed Intel, and the model name is something like "EtherExpress Pro 10/100."

I'm not sure about that, Bashir. Since it's 66MHz, it looks to be an AGP card; possibly a Savage4? If SaX2 doesn't work to configure X, try logging in as root, stopping whatever X configuration is running, and do this: # XFree86 -configure This should create a file, XF86Config.new, in root's home directory. Copy this file to /etc/X11/XF86Config-4, and see if it works. If it works, great! You have a starting point, and should start tuning /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 to taste. There's lots of information out there about tuning a running configuration, so hit Google or something. ;) Feel free to share with us the working configuration, and what you want it to do. Save that to a floppy disk or something for future reference, but the .new file and the -4 file; this way if you ever have to reinstall, you don't have to have this headache twice. :) -- -=|JP|=- '01 B15 SE/PP | http://www.xanga.com/cowboydren/ | <))>< '95 SL2 Auto | cowboydren @ yahoo . com | _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? A little more info is always helpful for getting a meaningful answer. What card is it? Check and see if it's ne2000 compatible or if any other existing driver will work. John
