Hi As other has stated already, it sure is enough. I had some time ago 100Mhz 486, 22Mb RAM runnin SuSE 6.2. I had ftp and http server running and serving "outside", and in LAN side it had samba HD-shares for every user (10 users), printing service (2 printers), and it had also firewall/masquerading for LAN access to Internet with SDSL (1M/1M). If an old piece of 486 can do this, You don't have to worry... Jaska. Viestissä Keskiviikko 26. Syyskuuta 2001 16:52, Andy Chan kirjoitti:
Dear all,
I am SOHO man. I wanna build up one ASP Server (running SuSE64, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, ...) to serve my client. If I use following hardware to setup that server, is possible to serve around 50 cocurrent users. Please advice.
AMD 1.2G 512 MB RAM 2 x 40GB IDE Hard Disk (RAID 0) DDS 3 Backup Drive
Best Regards, Andy
