* John (john@jmtl.com) [010903 10:12]: -> ->Hello, -> ->I've just upgraded to 7.2 and now want to download and update to the 2.4.7 ->kernel. I've not got a multi cpu box so assume I don't need the k_smp or ->k_psmp kits. -> ->That leaves the k_deflt or k_i386 rpm kits. They are a different size, so ->what's the difference between them, and which one do I use? I'm installing ->onto a 550Mhz Athlon. Choose the k_deflt rpm because it will support your Athlon and other hardware. The i386 rpm is just that..it will work with lower CPU's..your Athlon can use it..but it won't be as quick. -- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org cat CE|ME|NT|XP > /dev/null
