[Aug 15. 2001 13:02]: Hello Linux folkz, I just compiled 2.4.8 kernel according to my box HW parameters. When I booted it up swap space was mounted OK. Filename Type Size Used Priority /dev/sda1 partition 136512 0 -1
But KPM in KDE shows swap usage as swap (none) and swap used 0K/0K I saw the same picture in KDE Memory - Control Center: Virtual memory 0% 0.00 MB used
So no swap is used, what is wrong with that?
The problem is that KPM in KDE and KDE Memory - Control Center are showing total swap size as swap (none) 0K/0K although previous kernel 2.4.6 displayed it properly as swap 136M 0K/136M even if swap hasn't been used. I doubt if this is right. Thanks Alex -- MS Windows users should be covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act! --------------> Try Linux and you'll understand why <--------------
