hi rob, maybe some programs use some timezone information which is incorrect ?? the time is quite "in order" but only has a jump +/- 4 hours. what does your bios clock say and what your linux clock ?? do you using ntp to adjust the time ? i remeber to had this effect once too, just told yast that my bios clock runs at the local time, so there are no timezone calcs to be done. greets, chris Am Freitag, 22. Im noticing my message file is not sequential (time wise) Does anyone know what this would happen?
I get a daily email of the last 1000 lines of my messages file and am starting to see it out of order.
I was looking at the logs and noticed different times dropped in, so I nuked the log and its still occurring
What is this happening???
thanks rob
