Ok..you got me. It was finally all over the U.S. by mid-Febuary..but it was released ..meaning master cd's put into boxes and shipped to the states and other such places in January. So if we follow this logic then it will reach the States and be all over for the masses to enjoy by around mid-July..sooooooooooo.....
Feb-->Mar-->Apr-->May-->June-->July
Damn how that 6 month thing keep cropping up..I can't escape it..*scream..run..fall down* .. it's chasing us like a bad dream ;)
6 months..does't change no matter how we look at it. I was working there when this puppy came out.
Regards,
I would say that ben has made his point folks. I would have to aggree also that of late there has only been 2 releases of suse a year last year an now with 7.2 that will make the second one for this year. Two releases a year is not a bad release schedule to me. an considering all of what you get its a very good bargain. also like its been said you are not bound to upgrade to the lastest an greatest an also if you have a fat pipeline into your house/buisness then you can just download the updated stuff, but some of us like to support our favorite distro company an how else is the fine folks at suse going to keep putting out such a nice distro unless they make some money. just my .03 cents worth to the subject. also some of us like the nice books too boot an if we buy the full boxed set then we have a nice box set to pass on to someone else that maybe wants to take a look into linux an still a have the books from the new box to refer to. jack
