How do you get the full 100 though? My mobo supports 66/100 and the kernel (2.4.4) only supports 66, according to the boot up log.
Depends on the drive(s) you've attached to it. But you wouldn't notice it anyways, as there is *no* drive currently available that really uses the increased speed. Heck, the fastest ATA disks currently available only just exceed ATA33 speeds. For a test, just do 'hdparm -t /dev/<your disk>' as user root for a few times to get a better sample.
