Every new release from all companies have new "goodies." SuSE will do
the same for 7.2. The business climate is changing world wide...NO
exceptions. What WILL eventually happen are some mergers of some
distros. It's inevitable, because there are too many presently that
AREN'T making any money, and the rest aren't making enough profit
over and above expenses. If we want to continue to enjoy high quality
software at REASONABLE prices, then these and other changes MUST
happen. IF they do not, we all will be at the mercy of MickySoft, like
it not, that IS reality. Ideology doesn't cut it in the
marketplace...NOT anymore. Does it mean the end of open source...NO,
but there soon will NOT be any more "free beer."
