Tim, Did you install both kernels, and if so how.
How: - graphical yast2 installation: Click on the checkbox. There are two, one for 2.2, one for 2.4. The one for 2.2 is already active when you get to that screen, and I'd leave it that way to have a know-to-work fallback kernel. - yast1 install: Install just one of the two kernels (2.2/2.4). Later, in the system, start yast(1) again and go to Administration->Select kernel, and also install the other one you don't have yet. This used to overwrite the kernel yo already have, but not this time, at least not if you choose a different kernel, i.e. if you already have 2.2 and select 2.4 now you'll keep 2.2 as well. How to boot: you'll get a selection in LILO. You'll get the graphical LILO only if you did a graphical install, but even the ASCII lilo has a menu where you see all options right from the start now.
